Spotlight on Brie: Celebrating One Year at Limited Space.

Celebrating one year of outstanding contributions, we shine a spotlight on Brie, our dynamic Sales Executive at Limited Space. Since joining the team, Brie has not only embraced her role with enthusiasm but has also made a significant impact through her innovative and creative approach to campaigns. One of her standout projects, the Garfield Movie campaign, exemplifies her ability to drive results whilst thinking outside the box. Join us as we dive into Brie’s journey over the past year, her approach to sales, and her vision for the future.

Reflecting on Brie’s journey:
Looking back at your first day here, what’s something you’ve learned or experienced that you didn’t expect when you started?

"I have learned SO much from being here, as I was brand new to the advertising and OOH world. However, I was not expecting to be able to have so much fun in my job and make some great friends with colleagues and clients! The relationships I have built since starting here have been so great; I was never expecting to be able to tell friends and family back at home how much I truly love my job and love the advertising world."

Biggest Lesson Learned:
What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned as a Sales Executive at LS so far?

"Never stop grinding and being proactive – hard work pays off, and do it with a smile on your face. Oh, and triple-check your numbers and maths."

Adaptation and Growth:
How have you grown professionally since joining LS, and in what ways do you think the role has shaped your skill set?

"My communication skills with clients have improved greatly, especially working with people in many different roles in different companies. I have also learned a lot about how clients shape their campaigns to reach their target outcomes, and all of the different ways companies across many different sectors approach their advertising for their goals. Overall, this has helped me grow a lot in my own personal passion for business and seeing how major large companies operate in different ways."

Milestones and Highlights:
What has been a key milestone or standout moment for you during your first year?

"I think even being with the company for a whole year is a pretty big milestone for me personally, as I never knew what to expect moving to a new country and starting a new role in a new industry – it can be daunting, so I am pretty stoked! Aside from that, booking my first campaign was a huge moment for me. Seeing the BBC run on our Adlifts and Adlift Experience sites for Traitors was amazing – it really brought all the hard work to life and showed me how the whole process can result in something that looked so cool."

Collaborating with Clients:
What’s been your most rewarding client interaction or sales experience in the past year?

"I really wanted to run a unique creative campaign for a client, so to have been able to work on the Garfield furry wall campaign was pretty cool! Everyone worked so hard on that campaign, and to be able to work on it from start to finish, and to take the clients for a tour of the sites and have such great feedback was really rewarding. Seeing clients happy with what we are doing makes me feel very grateful."

Adapting to Industry Trends:
OOH is a dynamic industry. How do you keep up with the evolving trends and demands in this field?

"I think it is important to learn how different industries are navigating their campaigns and strategies for their goals. A brand's creative for a campaign makes up for over 60% of the success in a campaign, so for us as a company, we really need to be able to deliver fresh and high-impact ways that we can showcase their campaign to help us evolve with them as a brand. Each brand has a different demand, so it is key to approach different clients in ways that are more tailored to suit them."

Team Dynamics:
How has working with the team at LS contributed to your success? Can you describe the team in 3 words?

"Legendary - Hype - Queens."

Looking Ahead:
As you look toward your second year, what goals or aspirations do you have for the future in this role?

"I hope I can continue to grow in the company and continue to bring some really great campaigns to life. I aspire to keep on learning and growing as a person and absorb as much as possible from what I learn in the industry."

Advice to Newcomers:
What advice would you give to someone starting a career in OOH as a Sales Executive?

"Confidence is essential! Stay positive, work hard, and always keep a smile on your face. It can feel like you’re learning a whole new language, but use the support you have around you and take in as much knowledge as possible."

Balancing Challenges and Successes:
How do you manage the balance between the pressures of sales targets and maintaining motivation or a positive mindset?

"I think the overall dynamics of our team is a huge testimony to how I personally maintain motivation and stay positive. Turn the pressure into fuel to work hard, and the rewards will show! Teamwork is absolutely KEY, and always celebrate the small wins."
