Having already covered their reach-based objectives via TV spend, PUIG were looking for Out-Of-Home (OOH) activity to also deliver impact and engagement within major UK cities (Birmingham, Glasgow, London and Manchester) as part of their Christmas activity for Paco Rabanne’s signature ‘1 Million’ and ‘Lady Million’ fragrances.
The brief sent out from media agency Postercope stated that PUIG wanted to be ‘disruptive’. They wanted people to ‘stop, look up from their phones, be amazed and remember an exciting execution around ‘Millions’’ – a task that requires something truly show-stopping in today’s day and age.
Specialising in innovative media solutions, Limited Space, in partnership with property giant Hammerson PLC, created a brand new advertising opportunity that would completely fulfill the campaign brief and deliver a unique media-first.
Running for a two-week period between 4th December – 22nd December, Paco Rabanne were provided limitless campaign exposure in Birmingham via a giant vinyl installation applied directly to the underside of the ceiling in Bullring, one of the UK’s most prestigious shopping centres and the hearbeat of the city.
Measuring an impressive 274m2, the campaign also becomes the largest advertising installation ever applied within the retail environment.
