Looking to deliver a splash for Rubicon within the retail environment, we devised a multi-format activation that would become the showpiece of their new branding campaign; delivering both unmissable standout moments and repeat exposure alongside one-to-one connectivity between themselves and their target consumers.
Taking complete ownership of every site we offer in Manchester Arndale, Rubicon was able to create an OOH campaign that truly aligned with their messaging:
Grab life by the mangoes
Rubicon is famous for producing juice drinks from exotic fruits and flavours. We were able to bring this into the OOH space through the use of scent boxes applied directly to our sites – emitting fruity scents across the spaces to create a direct link between the campaign and the product.
Made of different stuff
The campaign included a complete mall takeover of Manchester Arndale, including our large format impacts sites. Panoramic, the largest standard advertising format available in the UK retail space, delivered an iconic centrepiece to the activity by broadcasting Rubicon’s messaging on the back of the main lift shaft – standing up to 2,000 sq ft in size and covering four levels of the mall.
Rubicon also dominated our lift door sites by showcasing their drinks range across two different banks and expanding their artwork to cover the entire surrounding areas, creating two Media Walls of advertising.
Adding a digital element, our Orbit Ownership sites offered the chance for Rubicon to grab attention by using dynamic content combined with full audio and artwork wrap. Our large-scale landscape screen created an easy transition between the brand's online / social content and the Digital Out-Of-Home (DOOH) space.

To complete the campaign, the lifts included as part of the media walls each had their own individual interior branding, providing a unique experience of immersion into the Rubicon brand and completely owning the consumer journey between different levels of the mall.
