Marketing Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to join our innovative and dynamic team. This permanent position is well suited to an individual that is looking to advance their career within a thriving and fast-paced work environment.


Reports to: Marketing Director

Internal team: Sales / Commercial teams and all Limited Space staff

External: Suppliers, shopping centre commercial teams, contractors, clients, agencies and specialists



• Support function across the whole marketing mix – including research, communications, PR, events, social media and website / online work

• Sales support in the form of pitch proposal and supporting visuals

• Supply of content for social channels and marketing comms

• Commissioning of photography and overall management of Limited Space photography function

• Manage the operational team

• Production of regular newsletter (including use of e-marketing software – training will be given)

• Collating and writing content for more extensive pieces of marketing work

• Collating and writing content for website, including responsibility for proactive regular content updates for the site (CMS training will be given)

• Collation of press coverage and regular distribution to management and sales teams

• Liaison with designer on all allocated projects

• Administrative organisation of research projects, including liaison with mall partners


Key Requirements and Skills


• Educated to degree level

• A marketing element to the degree is desirable, but not essential – transferrable skills are more important

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office is mandatory

• Excellent written English

• Knowledge of Photoshop

• Demonstrable commercial acumen

• A passion for advertising and media

• Happy to work independently and as part of a team, but regardless, proven ability to work strictly to deadline

• Creative thinker

• Demonstrable business acumen, experience of using design skills for commercial reasons

• Proven exceptionally high standards of work

• Confidence to ‘hit the ground running’ in terms of interpreting briefs and working independently within a new business / industry

• Determination to learn about new industries / clients and to keep up to speed with the latest developments in marketing and advertising which could benefit the business

• Pro-active approach to working

• Knowledge of the OOH market is preferable
